Glasstudio Ambros: The glass glows on the home page and cools in real time; press and hold to blow it.

Tripscha Digital built this website in 2026 for a glass studio in Frauenau. The notes below show what is on the first screen and why.

What is on the first screen is there for a reason.

First screen of Glasstudio Ambros, a website for a glass studio in Frauenau, screenshot with 3 numbered notes
  1. Glass

The glass is rendered in the browser: refraction, reflection, glow by temperature. Press and hold to blow it.

  2. Temperature

The temperature drops in real time. Below 750 degrees the glass is too stiff and has to go back into the furnace.

  3. Scale

The scale shows the real stages of studio glass, from the pot to the annealing oven.

What was missing, and what is there now.

  • Starting point

Glass is usually seen cold, on a shelf. The real work happens in the minute before, at over a thousand degrees, and that is what we wanted to show.

  • What we built

A glass vessel rendered in the browser with glow colour by temperature, a page that cools from 1,150 to 20 degrees as you scroll, a vase configurator with volume and price and course dates from today.

  • Result

The vase shaped on screen arrives in the request with colour and price.

  • What visitors ask

Why does it cost that much? Can I configure my own piece? How long does it take? Can I visit the workshop?
