Optik Feyerabend: Visitors see Ulm the way their eyes see it without glasses, and behind the glasses it turns sharp.

Tripscha Digital built this website in 2026 for an optician in Ulm. The notes below show what is on the first screen and why.

What is on the first screen is there for a reason.

  1. Glasses

Behind the glasses everything turns sharp; around them the blur of the chosen values remains. Minus lenses even shrink the view a little.

  2. Prescription

Sph, Cyl, Axis, Add: exactly the fields from the prescription card, plus four presets.

  3. Reading card

A reading card in the scene shows what presbyopia means up close.

What was missing, and what is there now.

  • Starting point

Many people notice late that they need glasses, and varifocals mean little to most. It is hard to explain, but easy to show.

  • What we built

A vision simulation from the values in the prescription with glasses that follow the mouse, a varifocal zone to try out, a calculator for the numbers on the temple and eye-test appointments from the opening hours.

  • Result

The eye test is one click away from anywhere, with reason and time.

  • What visitors ask

Why does it cost that much? Can I configure my own piece? How long does it take? Can I visit the workshop?
